WATCH YOUR STEP was one of the first scenes that beautifully captured what I was trying to communicate, in my art, all those different forms of communication silently asking you to read or acknowledge them. Words wanting to be read – graphic symbols to be wary of – lights to tell you when to stop and go – tape to tell you to keep out. Everything wants your attention.
