This was a commission piece for a woman in South Australia for her daughters’ 30th birthday. The woman had bought ‘Celebration – Greece’ and she told me that her 2 adult children had wanted it; so she secretly organised the commission. I’ve been told her son may want a commission in 2 years time for his 30th birthday.
All of the words and elements represent the food and drink that she loves – including an imported beer called FIX. I also included the greek bottle top. The waves in the background both represent an ancient greek pattern and the greek sea and beach the daughter loves. The word with the lemon graphic says lemons. Also included are the daughter and son-in-laws name.
