How can you capture a simple, single moment in time?
In these 3 pieces I wanted to take a simple image like an orange or matchbox on the grass and convey not only what was seen, but also what is heard and felt. Can I enhance the feeling in the atmosphere in a piece with different patterns?
When I approached these concepts in this “moment in time” I decided to split them into two because there was both pleasant and harsh noises. One with a matchbox on the grass showing the sharp, mechanical, loud, harsh and invasive noises. One with an orange on the grass with birds in the trees and feet gently walking through the grass on a bright sunny day.
There are 2 versions of the orange because I wanted to try different patterns for the grass and orange, plus different colours to convey different birds.
